- Elden Ring Hinted In Darksiders 3In New games·September 15, 2024Anyone who has played the Darksiders Saga is well aware of what made the games unique, or apart from others. The Tree of Life and the constant battle between good and evil, angels and demons, and the Nephilim made the games unique. Other games, for instance, the Souls Series, have their own version of good and evil, their vision different to some extent. While I personally have not played any of the Souls games, I have played Elden Ring. In contrast, I have finished all of the Darsiders games. I would say that Darksiders 2 is probably my favorite Darksiders game, due to all the loot, weapon crafting and perhaps secrets. Yet all of the Darksiders games are awesome in my opinion. I really do think Elden Ring is a masterpiece, yet I have to admit that I truly do believe that game has been inspired in many ways by the Darksiders series. Similarities between the two: A huge tree if not several, some winged NPCs, the ability to teleport to different areas of the map, some weapon crafting, and a sense of good and evil. While the Darksiders games are closely related to the Bible, Elden Ring has a completely different idea of heaven and hell. Darksiders 3 was released back in 2018, around the time Elden Ring was still in development, and it has several cutscenes that secretly reveal that a new game is on the making. One which is going to generate controversy, like if the game was designed to perform a social engineering test on another society, somewhat a form of conspiracy. Let's cut to the cheese, here is the cutscene below, and let me know what you think about the two games and what do you like or dislike about them. #darksiders #eldenring #gaming #youtube101

- Super Mario Bros 3 World 1 Fortress Level Boss Skip SecretIn Playthroughs·September 2, 2024If you are new to Super Mario Bros 3, you probably have not heard of this old trick. Mostly 90s gamers know this one already. The skip is quite simple, the level is only about a minute long, yet the boss skip to get the secret word jump flute is worth your while. As long as you are able to fly on this fortress you have one half of the trick. Once you reach the area with the skeleton turtle where the boss fight door is, you have to fly up and reach the top of the area of the bricks. Run to the right until the screen stops moving and press the up button on the dpad to access the secret chamber where the flute is. #tricks #secrets #supermariobros3103

- Why does Samael Help The Horsemen In The Darksiders Saga?In New games·August 25, 2024Samael is one of the most enigmatic and powerful characters in the Darksiders series, a demon lord whose influence and schemes intertwine with the destinies of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He is a character of immense complexity, whose motivations and actions are crucial across the different entries in the series, including Darksiders, Darksiders II, Darksiders III, and Darksiders Genesis. Samael’s backstory, hidden ambitions, and strategic maneuvers make him a central figure in the battle between Heaven, Hell, and the forces that govern the cosmos. Backstory and Character Overview: Samael, often referred to as the "Lord of Hell" or the "Red Prince," is a demon of extraordinary power, rivaling even Lucifer, the ruler of Hell. He is known for his vast intelligence, cunning, and deep understanding of the cosmic balance between the realms of Heaven, Hell, and the Charred Council. Unlike many demons who seek power through brute force and chaos, Samael is a master strategist, always playing the long game with carefully laid plans. Samael's primary goal appears to be the accumulation of power and the challenge to Lucifer’s dominion over Hell. Despite being a demon, Samael's actions suggest that he is not driven by pure malevolence but rather by a desire to reshape the order of Hell and assert his dominance. His true intentions, however, remain shrouded in mystery, as he often manipulates others to further his own ends while maintaining a façade of neutrality in the cosmic struggle between good and evil. Role in Darksiders (First Game): In the original Darksiders game, Samael plays a pivotal role as a key ally to War, the Horseman accused of prematurely starting the Apocalypse. After the destruction of humanity and War's fall from grace, War seeks out Samael, who has been imprisoned by the Destroyer (the fallen Archangel Abaddon). Samael strikes a deal with War, promising to help him reach the Black Tower, the Destroyer’s stronghold, in exchange for the hearts of the Chosen, powerful demons guarding the Tower. While Samael claims that the hearts will restore his power, it's clear that his motivations are more complex. By aiding War, Samael is not only regaining his strength but also positioning himself to challenge the Destroyer’s rule and possibly reclaim his status in Hell. Although he upholds his end of the bargain, Samael’s true plans remain ambiguous, leaving players to speculate about his ultimate goals. Role in Darksiders II: In Darksiders II, which follows Death's quest to redeem his brother War, Samael takes on a more mysterious role. He is encountered in the Forge Lands, a realm existing outside the normal flow of time, where he has adopted a different persona. Samael’s presence here hints at his deep knowledge of time and the ancient past. Samael strikes a bargain with Death, asking him to retrieve an ancient artifact called the Demon Key in exchange for his assistance. Samael’s retreat into the past serves multiple purposes: it allows him to avoid the direct conflicts of his era, gather power and knowledge that could give him an edge in the future, and possibly manipulate events across time to suit his long-term plans. His involvement with Death further emphasizes his far-reaching ambitions and willingness to manipulate the Horsemen to achieve his goals. Role in Darksiders III: In Darksiders III, Samael’s role becomes even more complex as Fury, the third Horseman, seeks him out during her mission to destroy the Seven Deadly Sins. Samael, now deeply entrenched in his own schemes, becomes both an ally and an antagonist to Fury. He provides her with guidance and challenges that test her abilities, all while furthering his own mysterious agenda. Fury’s interactions with Samael reveal more about his grand designs. He is depicted as a character who is always several steps ahead, using the chaos of the Apocalypse to position himself advantageously. Samael’s interest in the balance of power between Heaven, Hell, and the Charred Council suggests that his ultimate goals may extend beyond simple dominance. He seems to be carefully orchestrating events to ensure that he emerges as a key player in the cosmic struggle. Role in Darksiders Genesis: Darksiders Genesis offers players a glimpse into the earlier events of the Darksiders universe, where Samael plays a significant role. The game, which acts as a prequel, follows War and Strife as they are sent by the Charred Council to stop Lucifer from upsetting the balance by empowering powerful demons. Samael, already a formidable force in Hell, becomes an essential ally to the Horsemen. In Genesis, Samael assists War and Strife in their quest by providing crucial information and support, all while pursuing his own interests. His interactions with the Horsemen show his cunning nature and his ability to forge alliances that benefit him in the long run. Samael’s involvement in these early events hints at his broader ambitions to challenge Lucifer’s rule and solidify his own position as a dominant power in Hell. Motivations and Ultimate Goals: Samael’s motivations are deeply rooted in his desire for power and control over Hell, but his actions suggest that his goals may be far more complex. He is a character who values knowledge, manipulation, and the long game, often seeking out ancient artifacts, alliances, and opportunities to tip the balance in his favor. His willingness to assist the Horsemen, despite his demonic nature, indicates that Samael is more concerned with the grand scheme of things than with mere chaos and destruction. He is a master manipulator, using the events of the Apocalypse to further his own ends, whether that means challenging Lucifer, defying the Charred Council, or possibly even altering the cosmic balance itself to suit his vision of power and order. Conclusion: Samael stands as one of the most compelling and multi-faceted characters in the Darksiders series. His roles as an ally, antagonist, and manipulator make him a pivotal figure in the unfolding story of the Apocalypse. Throughout the games, Samael’s true intentions remain shrouded in mystery, but it is clear that he is a force to be reckoned with—a demon who, despite his origins, plays the long game with unmatched skill and foresight. Whether in the past, present, or future, Samael is always working to reshape the destiny of the worlds, seeking to emerge victorious in the eternal struggle for power.105

He is a thief by profession, but more than just a typical rogue, Karn possesses special skills that make him invaluable to Ryu and his companions. Background and Role: Karn comes from the clan of the ancient thieves, who have a unique mastery over certain secret abilities and fusions. As a thief, Karn is introduced to the party after Ryu and his companions seek him out for his skills in unlocking doors and disarming traps, which are critical to progressing through certain areas in the game. His expertise is first recognized when the group needs to infiltrate a fortress, and Karn’s talents are the only way to proceed. Special Abilities: Karn’s most notable skill is his ability to fuse with other party members, creating powerful hybrid forms. Throughout the game, Karn can learn four different fusion techniques by finding the spirits of ancient thieves, who are scattered across the world: Shin (Puka Fusion) - The first fusion Karn learns, Shin allows him to merge with Bo and Gobi, significantly boosting his stats. In this form, Karn becomes much more powerful in combat. Debo (Doof Fusion) - This fusion combines Karn with Ox, enhancing his strength and endurance, making him a formidable physical fighter. Doof (D.Ray Fusion) - A fusion that combines Karn with Bo, Gobi, and Ox, making Karn's form stronger and more resilient. Puka Fusion - The ultimate fusion form, combining Karn with all of his fusion partners (Bo, Gobi, Ox, and Mogu), turning him into Puka, an immensely powerful warrior. In this form, Karn's abilities are maximized, making him one of the most versatile and potent members of the party. These fusions are more than just cosmetic; they significantly enhance Karn’s combat capabilities, making him more effective in battle. Moreover, certain fusions are required to solve puzzles or navigate through specific areas in the game, further highlighting Karn’s importance in the story. Character Development: Karn is portrayed as a light-hearted, yet determined character. While initially motivated by treasure and the thrill of adventure, his time with Ryu and the rest of the party deepens his resolve to fight against the Dark Dragons and protect the world. His background as a thief comes with a certain sense of independence and cunning, but he proves to be a loyal and essential member of the team. Significance in the Game: Karn's fusions are not only crucial for combat but also for exploring the world of Breath of Fire. Certain areas and dungeons require his unique abilities to progress, and many of the game’s secrets and optional areas are accessible only with Karn's skills. Without Karn, the party would be unable to reach many critical locations, making him indispensable to the game's progression. His unique ability to fuse with other characters provides players with strategic flexibility and is key to overcoming many of the game's challenges. As a character, Karn brings a mix of humor, resourcefulness, and strength to the party, solidifying his place as one of the most memorable figures in the Breath of Fire series.102

- What is the best gaming secret of all time?In Gaming Articles·August 25, 2024One of the most iconic and well-known gaming secrets of all time is the discovery of the "Minus World" in the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES. This secret level has fascinated gamers for decades and remains one of the most famous gaming glitches ever discovered. The "Minus World" in Super Mario Bros.: The "Minus World" (also known as World -1) is a glitched, underwater level that can be accessed through a specific sequence of actions in World 1-2 of Super Mario Bros.. The level itself is a repeating underwater stage that doesn’t lead to a proper exit, trapping the player in an endless loop until they run out of lives or reset the game. How to Access the Minus World: 1. Reach World 1-2: • Start the game and play through World 1-1 to reach World 1-2. This is the underground level that contains the first warp zone in the game. 2. Locate the Warp Zone Area: • Play through World 1-2 until you reach the end of the level, just before the pipe that leads to the flagpole. As you approach the end, you'll notice a horizontal pipe leading to a wall on your left. Beyond this wall is the room containing the three warp pipes. To access the Minus World, you need to perform a glitch at this specific location. 3. Positioning for the Glitch: • Stand on top of the horizontal pipe that is directly to the left of the wall leading to the warp zone. The key is to position Mario on the left edge of this pipe, ensuring he’s facing left (back towards the left side of the screen). You’ll be using the top of this pipe to perform the glitch. 4. Perform the Glitch: • With Mario facing left, perform a backward jump without breaking the block right next to the left of the vertical pipe that leads up to the flagpole. Your aim is to chip the two blocks located above the left edge of the horizontal pipe and leave the block left to the vertical pipe unbroken. The backward jump should be done towards the right, attempting not attempting to break the block, rather merely touch the block when jumping backward to the right through the wall that separates the pipe from the warp zone room. • If done correctly, the screen will push Mario to the right, moving him through the wall and into the warp zone area. This part of the glitch may require several attempts, as the timing and positioning must be precise. • Once Mario has glitched through the wall, he will be in the warp zone area with the three warp pipes. To access the Minus World, immediately go down the first pipe on the left, which will take you to World -1. 5. Exploring the Minus World: • World -1 is an underwater level similar in appearance to World 2-2 but is glitched and unfinished. Upon completing this level, instead of progressing to the next stage, you’ll be sent back to the beginning of the same level, creating an inescapable loop. The only way to exit the Minus World is by running out of lives or resetting the game. Here is how to accomplish it in case you want to see this on video: Why the Minus World is Iconic: The Minus World remains one of the most iconic gaming secrets because it was discovered purely by accident and became one of the earliest examples of how glitches could reveal hidden and unintended content within a game. The level’s mysterious nature, combined with its inescapable loop, added to the intrigue, sparking rumors and myths among players. Moreover, the Minus World demonstrates how the limitations and quirks of early game design could lead to fascinating and unexpected results, contributing to the mystique and legacy of classic video games. It also serves as a testament to the creativity and curiosity of the gaming community, who have always sought to push the boundaries of what is possible within the games they play. Conclusion: The Minus World in Super Mario Bros. is more than just a secret level; it’s a piece of gaming history that represents the sense of wonder and discovery that has always been a part of video games. By performing a precise series of actions involving the horizontal pipe just left of the warp zone wall, making sure Mario is facing left, and executing a backward jump to clip through the wall, players can access a hidden world that was never meant to be seen. Immediately entering the first pipe on the right after the glitch transports you to one of the best and most famous gaming secrets of all time—the Minus World.003
- Step-by-Step Fastest Route Using Warp Zones For Super Mario NesIn Old school gaming·August 25, 2024To complete Super Mario Bros. on the NES as quickly as possible, you'll want to take advantage of the warp zones, which allow you to skip entire worlds. By using the right warp zones, you can reduce the number of levels you need to play to a minimum, making it possible to finish the game in just a few minutes. Step-by-Step Fastest Route Using Warp Zones: 1. World 1-2: Warp to World 4 • Location: As you reach the end of World 1-2, you'll notice an elevator platform that moves up and down. Instead of going through the pipe that leads to the flagpole, jump onto the elevator and break the blocks above you. This will allow you to walk along the top of the screen. Continue right until you reach a hidden area past the exit pipe. Here, you'll find a set of pipes that lead to different worlds. Enter the rightmost pipe to warp directly to World 4-1. 2. World 4-2: Warp to World 8 • Location (First Method): In World 4-2, just after the start, you'll come across a moving platform and some bricks overhead. Break the second brick from the right, which reveals a hidden vine block. Climb the vine to reach a warp zone that allows you to skip to World 8. • Alternative Location (Second Method): Instead of climbing the vine, continue through the level until you reach a set of elevators towards the end. Just like in World 1-2, you can run along the top of the screen above the exit pipe to find a hidden warp zone. The far-right pipe will also warp you to World 8. 3. World 8: Final Run • Once you've reached World 8, there are no more warp zones, so you'll need to complete Worlds 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, and 8-4 in succession. While there are no shortcuts that allow you to skip worlds within World 8, knowing the layout of these levels and the fastest routes through them will help you complete them quickly. Detailed Location Descriptions: • World 1-2: The secret to accessing the warp zone is the ceiling above the exit pipe. To reach it, jump on the elevator platform that moves up and down near the end of the level. Break the blocks that block your way to the ceiling and run along the top. Continue to the right until you reach the hidden area with the warp pipes. • World 4-2 (Vine Method): After passing through the initial stretch of World 4-2, look for a set of blocks above you after a series of steps and a gap. Break the second brick from the right to reveal a vine block. Climb the vine to reach the warp zone. • World 4-2 (Alternative Warp): Similar to World 1-2, you can find another warp zone at the very end of World 4-2 by running along the top of the level. To do this, take the moving platform and break the bricks above you, then run to the right to find the hidden warp zone. Conclusion: By utilizing these warp zones, you can skip most of the game and jump directly from World 1 to World 4, and then from World 4 to World 8, allowing you to complete Super Mario Bros. in record time. Mastering the levels in World 8, especially the maze-like 8-4, is crucial for a quick finish.002
- You received Inferno Spectrum DarkOrbit 2024In Playthroughs·August 21, 2024In this short YouTube video, I looted an Inferno Spectrum design for my Spectrum Ship in one of the Empyrean Booty boxes. According to the DarkOrbit forum, the chances of getting a ship design are better than other types of loot boxes out there. Crafting the keys for one of them was worth the time and effort. In comparison to other ships, I would say the Spectrum ship is quite strong shield-wise. Players should consider this type of ship when is necessary to complete missions that require being able to survive alone in the DarkOrbit universe.0011
